Osaka Prefecture sold off 2.8 hectares (Osakashi Chuoku and the major foreland district with the prefecture public office buildings) in prefecture Arichi, and brought the redeveloped city planning plan idea together. It aims at the initiator of the Osaka regeneration that takes the place of the prefecture public office building relocation to failing Osaka World Trade Center building (WTC) by the large-scale development assumed to be the end by the core of Osaka.
It was voted down in prefecture Congress in March though governor Toru Hashishita proposed the legislative bill related to the public office building relocation as "The substantial change and the knock-on effect were brought to Osaka". Therefore, governor Hashishita is an instruction lingua as for the clearance of 2.8 hectares in the new public office building rebuilding land required for that becomes unnecessary while the policy of earthquake-proof reinforcing the main building of the prefecture public office building was decided and the discussion about the city planning plan.
As many as the maintenance object quarter region is 1.7 hectares in the main building south, 1.1 hectares on the west side according to the plan idea including the prefecture legation, and 2 breadths in the Koshien Stadium ground.
The south where it faced Osakajo-Koen discusses the campus in the concert hall, the convention hall, and the university and the special school. A west side near the Tanimachi muscle plans an exclusive hotel that established the restaurant and the museum as an annex and an office building and a high-level apartment and lot offered for sale, etc.

The prefecture shortly formally proposes the plan idea to the prefecture Congress each party and faction in Diet. There is a voice to request real new public office building construction in prefecture Congress because the WTC relocation frustrated it, too and is a possibility of conflicting with governor Hashishita again.
